Training

Germyn's provides both class room and site specific training for all of our employees to reinforce proper procedures, safety and economy in addition to making sure that the customers' specifications are met. The curriculum for these classes is designed to not only provide skills, but also to give employees a clear track to advancement both in grade and pay. As they advance the curriculum includes such things as customer service and leadership training. In addition our supervisory personnel are involved in continuous training in helping people be more productive and again greater satisfaction form their work. Some of our supervisors have been with us for over ten years.

Germyn's believes that communication not only with its customers, but also with its employees, is critical to good results. To facilitate effective communication daily meetings are held with all supervisors; cell phones and two way radios are used to encourage communication with management; and a monthly newsletter, Germyn's News was created to to share information with both customers ad employees. In addition we have created Germyn's Team News, a newsletter designed to keep employees up-to-date on new policies, share industry news and improve knowledge and our customers' needs. Monthly employee meetings are also held to share information.
