Carpet Cleaning Service Germyn’s Carpet Cleaning & Maintenance Service Inc. began in 1974 by my father, Fred Germyn. He started the small business solo working long hours with few days off. A huge heart for hard work and value in customer satisfaction was passed down to me. That is top on my list of family traits. I showed interest my his dad ’s venture and began working for the family business in 1993. I admired my father for his business sense, his commitment to his employees and his strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction. In 1995, I joined the business full-time. Over the past ten years Germyn’s has grown from a company of less than 20 employees to more than 60. In 2000, the residential carpet cleaning segment of the business had grown to need a leader of its own - so, I stepped up to the plate. Earlier this year, I made the decision to purchase a portion of the family business. I am proud to say that I now own Germyn’s Carpet Cleaning. This is a company known for its janitorial and carpet cleaning in the commercial industry that has branched out to residential. Germyn’s has a large commercial base and now has a fast growing residential demand. I have a growing family of my own and understand just how much family means. My wife, Laura and I have been married for four years. We have one son, Cameron, who is 2. I am a local boy who graduated from Willamette High School in 1995. I attended Lane Community College taking business and marketing classes. I have attended a countless number of carpet cleaning seminars and am certified with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC). I have spent the last three years developing the Germyn’s residential cliental base. have went to each home in person to handle carpet cleaning needs. Establishing a strong relationship with my customers is something my father instilled in me from a very young age. The truth is I love what I do. I enjoy getting out and meeting people. I go somewhere new everyday and am always doing something different. Germyn’s certified technicians work for our company on salary NOT commission.
